A pretty authentic Korean Chinese in town. Our go-to weekend place. Noodle dishes are better than others.

My authentic Korean food cravings were at an all-time high, and Jang Won delivered, ate, and left zero crumbs behind. I went with party of three, and we split the holy trinity of Korean-Chinese cuisine: perfectly chewy jajangmyeon drenched in a rich glossy black bean sauce, spicy jampong with seafood that slapped me awake in the best way, and the tangsuyuk--crispy, golden pork goodness in sweet and sour sauce so balanced it deserves its own Michelin star. Service was quick, the food came out piping hot, and the portions were enormous and well worth the price point! I waddled out of there full and happy, with the kind of satisfaction you only get when every single craving is obliterated in one meal. This place is now locked into my Northern VA "must-eat" list for every trip home. 5/5 stars. My only regret is that I didn't order more to take home.

As good as it gets. High quality Korean-Chinese food at prices just above fast food. Tried their Tangsoyuk (pork seeet and sour) just like my mom's and the Gan Jajangmyun (sir fried pork jajang) enough for several people. Also had a mild seafood dish , single serving that came w soup and rice--also shareable w several people. Others in the area are very good but this one is a standout! Apparently this one is popular at the Annandale location too. And service was great too! Ambience was diner like and busy even for a late Sunday night.

I recently visited Jang Won Bon Jum and had a great experience. This no-frills Korean Chinese spot gets straight to the point with its food, and that's exactly what I loved about it. I ordered the combo of pork tangsuyuk and jajang myeon noodles, and both dishes came out hot and fresh. The tangsuyuk was crispy, perfectly sweet, and the noodles had that rich, savory jajang sauce that really hit the spot. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable. If you're looking for solid Korean Chinese food without all the fuss, I highly recommend!

The Centreville Jangwon continues to keep up its standard. More than anything, I can appreciate that whatever new items I order, it continues to not disappoint. The omurice was fairly standard but I could appreciate it. The tangsuyuk continues to be one of the staples (especially the pork), and I think the jjambbong is one of the best in the area, balancing the spice and the heartiness of the soup. Make sure you call in advance if you have a large party and they'll certainly accommodate.

Came here several times and food has been consistently good each time. Portion is pretty large so its good for sharing. Service is also pretty efficient! I typically get the black bean noodles, pork tang su yuk, or the jjamppong.

Great service from the moment we walked in, and continued until we left. Never had to ask for water refills or bonchon. Menu was easy and prices reasonable. Wife absolutely loved her selection, compared the amount of actual seafood to other places. This one was packed full of mussels, a giant prawn - she was impressed I did black noodles, I ate it all, and I thought I would be thrown off by color, but flavor won me over. The fried dumplings were definitely hand-made and delicious. Great stop for lunch !!!

Jangwon in Centreville is an absolute gem for lovers of Korean cuisine. Their jajangmyeon is hands down the best in the area, with perfectly cooked noodles smothered in a rich and flavorful black bean sauce that leaves you craving more with every bite. But that's not all - their spicy jjamppong is a true standout. The broth has a subtle smokey flavor that adds depth to the dish, and the combination of seafood and vegetables creates a harmonious balance of flavors and textures. And let's talk about their tang su yuk - the portions are huge! Crispy, tender pieces of meat coated in a sweet and tangy sauce make for a satisfying and indulgent meal that's perfect for sharing (or not!). With delicious food and generous portions, Jangwon never disappoints. Whether you're craving comforting classics like jajangmyeon and jjamppong or looking to indulge in tang su yuk, this restaurant is a must-visit for Korean cuisine enthusiasts in the area.
